Day1Arrival in Kathmandu△ 1,400m⌄
Welcome and transfer to hotel. Trek briefing and gear check.
Day2Fly to Lukla, Trek to Phakding△ 2,652m⌄
Dramatic flight into Lukla. Begin trek through rhododendron forests to Phakding.
Day3Trek to Namche Bazaar△ 3,440m⌄
Cross suspension bridges over the Dudh Kosi river. First Everest sighting. Arrive at the Sherpa capital.
Day4Acclimatization in Namche△ 3,440m⌄
Day hike to Everest View Hotel for panoramic views. Visit the Sherpa Culture Museum.
Day5Trek to Tengboche△ 3,860m⌄
Trail through alpine meadows to Tengboche Monastery. Afternoon monastery visit and prayer ceremony.
Day6Trek to Dingboche△ 4,410m⌄
Enter the high Himalayan zone above treeline. Views of Ama Dablam and Lhotse.
Day7Acclimatization in Dingboche△ 4,410m⌄
Day hike to Nagarjun peak for panoramic views. Rest and prepare for higher altitude.
Day8Trek to Lobuche△ 4,940m⌄
Pass the Thukla memorial cairns. Enter the glacial moraine landscape.
Day9Trek to Gorak Shep & Everest Base Camp△ 5,364m⌄
Trek to Gorak Shep, then continue to Everest Base Camp. Stand among the expedition tents beneath the Khumbu Icefall.
Day10Kala Patthar Sunrise & Descent△ 4,240m⌄
Pre-dawn climb to Kala Patthar (5,545m) for the closest sunrise view of Everest. Descend to Pheriche.
Day11Trek to Lukla△ 2,860m⌄
Rapid descent through changing vegetation zones back to Lukla. Celebration dinner.
Day12Fly to Kathmandu & Departure△ 1,400m⌄
Morning flight to Kathmandu. Certificate presentation. Airport transfer.
